Yannick Guédon is a composer, singer and dancer,
His work focuses on tiny variations of timbres, the inner pulsation sensations and subjective notions of time and rhythm.
He is very concerned by performers’ weaknesses and mistakes in interpretation, with particular attention to the place and context in which each musical situation is dis-played.
In 2006 he wrote his first piece, pitulatif, a solo voice. Will follow ticdê, a vocal trio, infimie, for voice, electroacoustic, video and light, soupir and pause, for clarinets, guitars, percussion, cello and voice.
In 2011, he has initiated the project a _ t e m p _ s, for voice, treble viola da gamba, field-recording and a guest.
He also collaborated with the following musicians : Didier Aschour, Deborah Walker, Carole Rieussec, Jean-Christophe Camps, Thierry Madiot, Michael Pisaro, Jacques Schoenbeck, Patrice Soletti.
As a performer, he worked with Roland Hayrabedian’s contemporary chamber choir, with composers such as Pascale Criton and Rodolphe Bourotte ; and the choreographers : Chazallon & Chaput, Philipp Gehmacher, Rémy Héritier and Laurent Pichaud.
